Dear Ms. Mary Carmichael,
Greetings:
I would like to thank you for reporting on the gross injustice that Harvard University has inflicted upon Dr. Subramanian Swamy a world renowned economist. Upon knowing what had happened at Harvard I also wrote a letter to the President of the university which is being forwarded to you hereunder. Please take a moment to go through it. In response to this letter I have neither heard from Dr. Faust nor from Dr. Smith the Dean.
I am also forwarding for your background an item dated Jan. 1, 2012 on the ground realities existing in Kashmir carried by India Today. After reading the two items hopefully you may get some idea as to what we are fighting against. The Saudis, Pakistanis, fundamentalist Wahabis, Taliban, Al Qaeda, Jihadis and Mujahideen all are having a field day in Kashmir where all non-Muslim minorities have been literally wiped out. In true American tradition Dr. Swamy dared to raise his voice against the ongoing genocide in that region yet the most prestigious university of our country joining hands with these anti-peace, anti-democracy and anti-America terrorists has tried to silence him. We consider it to be an act of support for those who are engaged in committing unforgiveable hate crimes.
Boston occupies a special place in American revolution and in spreading freedom and liberty. We expect the people of Boston, education institutions and above all the media of Boston to play their historic role in defense of the homeless and exiled non-Muslim minorities of Kashmir who have been living like refugees for the last two decades. And an invitation to Dr. Swamy to teach and restoration of his courses at Harvard will be but a small step forward in that direction.
